In addition to the interesting appearance and attractive appearance of black Chia food, it is the nutritional and physiological properties that speak in favor of this ancient food. Organic Chia fills you up, but it is not exactly low in calories. 580 kcal at a fat content of 31 g comes with it. With approx. 30 g dietary fibre, Chia is considered to be helpful for a regulated digestion. Chia is outstanding when it comes to minerals. Calcium and magnesium are to be found in the favored ratio, namely 2:1, in the Chia. Here the proportion is between 630 and 335 mg. The black variant of Chia is more common. These are the dark seeds mainly of plants that bloom vigorously in blue. However, the color of the small seeds has no influence on the quality or taste. According to the available investigations, both variants are identical. It is therefore mainly a question of the intended use whether you choose white or black organic Chia.

Use

Color monotonous dishes such as vegetable milk, natural yoghurt or quark are given an interesting touch with black organic Chia. The dark seeds taste good in muesli, smoothies and porridge. Even pudding preparations gain from the small, spicy seeds. Organic Chia is ideal in fruit bars, it should not be missing in egg white bread and granola biscuits. Also in ice cream – especially vegan – Chia finds more and more lovers. The small seeds loosen up the consistency and give animal and vegetable milk a nutty note. Due to its longer shelf life and exotic appearance, black organic Chia is an exciting alternative to linseed.
