Organic macadamia flour is mild and has an aromatic fine nut flavour and has a high protein content, so it is also popular in protein shakes.
Although the transports are long, the economic importance that the cultivation of organic macadamias has for the families in Kenya makes up for this disadvantage. Small family farms and certified organic companies create jobs and ensure fair conditions.
Organic macadamia flour is a quality product. However, nuts that do not meet the requirements for direct consumption in terms of size or appearance can also be used for production. In this way, resources are conserved and all the nuts from a harvest are used.
Furthermore, in the cultivation of organic macadamias, mixed and secondary crops ensure soil improvement and diversity.
Use
Organic macadamia flour is used both in baking and cooking. Whether for biscuits, cakes and bread or sauces and desserts, organic macadamia flour can be used in many ways with its finely ground structure and nutty-buttery taste. The mild organic macadamia flour can replace conventional flour and is therefore also suitable for gluten-free diets.
