This nut fracture is an inexpensive alternative to whole nuts and is therefore particularly suitable for further processing. This variant can be used in pieces, chopped and ground wherever the appearance does not require undamaged nut halves. Our organic walnut fragment is obtained from freshly harvested nuts, which we obtain from Moldova. There, in the warm wine-growing climate, high-quality nuts flourish in taste. In terms of ingredients, the organic nut fracture in amber is in no way inferior to the light walnuts and whole nut halves. Organic walnuts have a high nutrient density. The health benefits of nuts are being emphasized more and more. Walnuts do have a good calorie balance with 62 g fat content. The quality of polyunsaturated fats and their positive contribution to a healthy diet more than make up for this. Walnuts are cholesterol-free and are even considered to have a beneficial effect on high cholesterol levels. The vitamins A and E contained in organic walnuts as well as plenty of vitamin B are considered to support nerve function and metabolism. Walnuts provide the necessary nutrients for skin and hair, muscles and amino acid metabolism.
Use
The curd of our organic walnuts, amber, is ideally suited to enrich dishes with the spicy nut aroma. They taste in muesli mixtures and are used chopped as decoration for fine pastries. The nutcrack gives fine biscuits their incomparable taste. The delicate spicy astringency of the nut kernels forms an interesting contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate mass when processed into chocolates and nut spreads. Walnuts are also increasingly in demand as a crunchy, hearty ingredient in the preparation of food. Especially in vegan and vegetarian dishes, organic walnuts are not only an important source of protein, they also give the dishes the desired crunchy bite. Green and red pestos taste just as good with the spicy, amber-colored nut.
